The 216 Project

Compared to What

The 216 Project is a diverse collective of musicians from the Cleveland metro area who came together in the fall of 2020 to produce a virtual recording during Covid-19 restrictions. Most of the musicians still have yet to meet in person. This is a cover of Compared to What, which was released in 1969 and has been recorded by many artists. This version takes it's inspiration from the Les McCann/Eddie Harris live version. My keyboard playing was inspired by Brian Auger's version. The song is accompanied by a video produced by Joshua Nelson.
